Yes Day 2024

Dear Blessed Sacrament Parents,

We’re excited to announce our fall fundraiser will be a YES DAY!

This fundraiser directly benefits our students, faculty, staff, and campus all while allowing our students to have a really exciting day. It’s fun, it’s online, and it’s the easiest fundraiser you will ever participate in! Help us reach our goal of raising $25,000 in support of our amazing BSCS community!

What is YES DAY? It’s exactly what it sounds like! We picked a day to say yes to all the privileges students wouldn’t normally get.
How does it work? For every dollar each family fundraises, they’ll be able to purchase different privileges for YES DAY. Families will take the total sum of what was fundraised and divide it among each student who attends the school. They will then have the option to purchase as many privileges as they fundraised.
When does fundraising for privileges begin? We will kick off our YES DAY fundraiser on Thursday, September 12th.
When does fundraising for privileges end? All donations are due by 11:59 PM on Friday, September 27th, 2024.
How do we fundraise? All fundraising is done online through a website called Greater Giving. Creating your fundraiser page only takes a few minutes. The fundraiser text is already provided, all we need from you is a few clicks and “voila,” you are ready to share your family fundraiser page, or you can customize your page by adding text, uploading photos or videos.
When will students choose their privileges? Privilege forms will be sent out on Monday September 30th and are due back in class on Thursday, October 3rd.
When is YES DAY? October 9th!

School Goal: Our goal is to raise $25,000!

We can do this, Blessed Sacrament families! In order to meet this goal,
we are asking that each student raise $200.

YES DAY Privileges

We will have school wide privileges, as well as individual privileges. The collective total of the school earns everyone a school wide privilege. The personal total each family raises will be used for the family to divide among their students and in turn each student uses that to “purchase” privileges.

For example, let’s say you have two students at the school. If you raise $200, each student would have $100 to spend on privileges for YES Day.

For preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, there will be no individual privileges. The class as a whole will work towards class goals and once they hit a goal the whole class will earn that privilege.

For example, once they earn $700 as a class, the entire preschool class gets to bring in a stuffed animal on Yes Day.

What are examples of some of the individual privileges?

☐ Mismatched socks
☐ Bring your favorite stuffed animal
☐ Crazy hair
☐ Face paint
☐ No homework pass to use
☐ Free dress for YES DAY
☐ Cotton Candy
☐ Sit by a friend of choice in class for the day
☐ Bring an electronic device (1st - 8th only)
☐ Silly string Mr.Penn (preschool, pre-kinder, kinder)
☐ Scales and Tails petting zoo (1st - 8th)

What are the school wide goals?

☐ $7,000 extra 15 minutes of recess
☐ $13,000 school wide ice cream party
☐ $17,000 spirit shirts for entire school
☐ $22,000 Movie & Pizza Party for everyone on YES DAY!
☐ $25,000 BOUNCE HOUSES on YES DAY!
